File transfer with simple drag and dropThe main view of FileZilla is split into two panels. Powerful Site ManagerFileZilla’s site manager stores the connection information of remote server, which enables you to connect to a server without having to re-enter the information every time. The site manager also allows you to store the connection information for multiple sites, which is an essential feature for people who work with multiple web sites. If you need to manage many, many sites, you can create folders to organize them.
Multiple sites supportThe tabbed interface allows you to connect to multiple remote sites simultaneously. You can browse the sites’ content and transfer files on different sites without having to disconnect and reconnect.
Direct editing of remote filesWhen you experience a bad setting in remote site that requires a correction of certain configuration file, you can edit the file remotely without having to undergo tedious download and upload. FileZilla supports remote editing. When you attempt to edit a file in server, FileZilla temporary download the file to your machine and open it with your favorite text editor. When you finish editing, FileZilla put it back to the server and replace the original copy.
Support of multiple languagesFileZilla supports many languages including French, German, Chinese, Spanish, Japanese and more. You can switch to another display language easily through the Settings window.
